For my free crochet coffee thingy, I’m using paintbox* cotton aran yarn, which is a #4 medium weight cotton yarn. you can certainly substitute any medium worsted cotton or acrylic yarn. I like to use cotton yarn for the cups, but acrylic would work too.

round 1: without twisting ch, sc in first ch to form a ring, sc in every remaining ch around. do not join sl st (see pattern notes). (35)
