There’s nothing wrong with a pb&j sandwich, but what I usually crave is a cafe-style sandwich! I guess I’m not alone because I’m constantly seeing new coffee shops popping up all over town. the only problem is, when I add fries and a drink to my fancy sandwich, the meal can cost over $10.00! That amount adds up fast, but I recently found a solution to the coffee sandwich conundrum: which is to make it myself! These coffee sandwiches are so simple, easy, and affordable to make! In fact, I added up the cost to make each sandwich and {get this} they all cost less than $2.50 to make! {read on for the recipes}
The key to a great sandwich is the ingredients. If your goal is a coffee-quality sandwich, you should focus on the best-tasting items. i recently tried and fell in love with castlewood brand sausages. They are very high quality, but they are also affordable! I bought the castlewood shaved meats variety pack at sam’s club. I also bought a variety pack of castlewood deli sliced cheeses. you can see the rest of my shopping trip on google plus.
These deli slices are amazing! they’re even great on their own. I often surprise myself or the girls by eating them straight out of the fridge. 😉 I love castlewood meat and cheese variety packs because I can create a different sandwich every day! here are some recipes that can be made with these selections:
This sandwich can rival any selection on a cafe menu. I made it with castlewood oven roasted turkey, bacon, castlewood provolone cheese, leaf lettuce and my recipe for roasted red pepper spread! Roasted Red Pepper Pasta is excellent with Castlewood Oven Roasted Turkey.

This next sandwich is one of my all time favorites. Angus Roast Beef with Colby Jack Cheese! Wow… this is what sandwiches are made of! The Castlewood Deli Sliced Beef has an amazing flavor that really makes this sandwich shine!
I made a spicy white sauce to go with this sandwich. It has a bit of horseradish to give it a zip! I love this!
next up is black forest ham and swiss with creamy mustard sauce. This sandwich is sure to please even the pickiest of palates! castlewood black forest ham with castlewood swiss cheese is a perfect match!
Creamy Mustard Sauce has a little secret inside. 😉 read the recipe to find out what it is. Wow, this is so good!
