workhorse coffee shop gives you the feel of a small town coffee shop in the middle of a big city. his staff is pleasant and chatty, and happy to answer any questions you may have. there is a decent sized seating area consisting mainly of tables. Workhorse is, appropriately enough, a great place to enjoy a hot cup of coffee and get some work done.

Sometimes premium specialty coffee can be more expensive than the quality warrants, but we’re happy to report that Bootstrap coffee is worth every penny. they roast their coffee to perfection, and every coffee they sell is exceptional. their selection is not extensive, but they do focus on quality over quantity.

if you visit them at 432 wabasha st s, be sure to grab a snack to go with your coffee. the bootstrap menu has a small selection of croissants, pastries, and donuts that go well with a hot cup of delicious coffee.

8. spy cafe

If you want the classic cozy coffee experience, the spyhouse coffee is where you’ll get it. The flagstone countertop and tack board menu give Spyhouse that traditional coffee shop vibe we can’t get enough of. the seating area follows that theme but is quite small so you may not be able to find a seat during busy times.

all the coffee at spyhouse is excellent, but we especially loved the espresso. cadence records & the coffee is a unique experience unlike anything we have come across anywhere. the name gives you an idea that music and coffee are what it’s all about, and after just one step inside the door, you can tell they’re not kidding. At Caydence, his passion for music is matched only by his passion for coffee.
