You better believe there’s free candy at Stella’s Cafe. This brightly hued Pearl Street café features live music, walls adorned with artwork for sale, and a large, shady, pup-friendly patio. 2. highland cork & coffee
Whether the doggo is your early morning coffee buddy or your after-work bubbly friend, dogs rest at highlands cork & coffee patio all day. afternoons are affectionately called “puppy time” due to the number of four-legged patrons. after you two finish your snacks: complimentary bowls of water and treats for your pup; Panini and a cup for you: Head to Biscotti Hound for homemade dog biscuits in flavors like coconut and pumpkin. despite its nickname, we promise this cap hill coffee shop is an ace for doggos. in fact, they even have a dog park with water bowls and a poop station. stay warm on the cozy patio by sitting near one of the two fire pits, or enjoy the shade on a scorching hot day. roostercat stays open until 8 p.m. because sometimes you need a pick-me-up at night.
5. the radiator coffee & bar
the coffee from the radiator & bar is a neighborhood favorite sunnyside hang fur for good reason. open from sunrise (7 a.m.) to 9 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 11 p.m. On weekends, you can order Cafe Pablo and bagels with fido in the morning, then come back later for cocktails and sandwiches. kick back with your woof on their spacious outdoor patio, which is perfect for work, play, or people-watching.

Do you and your pup have very refined tastes and look up at the thought of your roasted coffee beans in who knows where? Pablo’s Coffee has its own roasting facility and shop in East Colfax, along with two other locations in Cap Hill and downtown. There is no Wi-Fi at the Cap Hill location, so bring a book and prepare to gaze longingly into your pup’s eyes.
