The main coffee families that Peru grows include, Typica (70% of Peruvian coffee production), Caturra (30%) and 10% other miscellaneous varieties.       The Amazon rainforest region is often the least regarded Peruvian coffee growing area in Peru. however, coffee from the provinces of rodrigues de mendoza and chachapoyas provides stellar organic coffees with hints of chocolate and velvety fruit.


      Cajamarca coffee grows between 1850m and 1900m. Its most productive region, Jaén, exports coffee with hints of plum, peach and hints of sweet honey.
