This is a great park slope cafe to work at, as there are plenty of tables, outlets, and it’s pretty quiet and peaceful inside.

They have a great coffee selection and a great food menu that includes soups, salads, cakes, and other fun dishes, like one of our favorites, the shakshuka.

Cafe Grumpy is a popular and critically acclaimed cafe in Park Slope. This no-frills park slope cafe doesn’t really have seating, so you’ll have to grab your cup of coffee to go or you can stand at the bar while you sip your espresso. however, they do have some outdoor tables if you want to enjoy your coffee there.

Grumpy Coffee at Park Slope boasts of being for coffee connoisseurs. this is one of those independently run companies that you are happy to support. there are now 10 locations in the city, the first in greenpoint with a focus on community, social responsibility and sustainability through its business.

cafe grumpy prides itself on sourcing and roasting its coffee in-house, serving its loyal customers quality coffee in every cup, meaning if you come in grumpy, you won’t leave grumpy.

try one of their classics or one of their stellar nitro cold brews. They also have an amazing matcha latte with oat milk if you don’t feel like coffee.

One of our favorite cozy neighborhood park slope coffee shops is Postmark Cafe on 5th Avenue at 6th Street. this comfortable cafe is a great place to bring your laptop and enjoy a cold beer and one of their bagel sandwiches – we personally love the pesto and mozzarella one.

led by the church! from Park Slope, a religious organization run by the community as a non-profit café. This adorable spot is popular with people who work remotely, as the vibe here is unpretentious and welcoming.

This little park slope coffee shop literally loves its regulars and even features the coffee shop’s regulars along with their stories on their website. how cute is that?

The cafe is quite small, but there are a few small tables inside and some sidewalk seating out front. this isn’t the best place to bring a laptop, but it’s a great place to sit back and enjoy a cup of your classic coffees and teas with a friend or while reading the news.

This rustic park slope cafe is run by brooklyn swedes who named their cafe after a swedish word meaning a gathering place for hot drinks or a coffee break. seems appropriate!

This park slope cafe was their first location, but they also have a place on cobble hill.

Vibrant, bright décor and delicious coffee exude the feeling of happiness. they serve a fantastic selection of coffee with central american arabian beans serving everything from french press to espresso along with some baked goodies, both swedish and american, from bagels to coffee bread.

for anyone on a gluten free diet, konditori also has a selection of gf treats!

You can’t help but enjoy this laid-back space decked out in vintage furniture and decor from cool old ’60s refrigerators, copper countertops, and wooden doors repurposed as tables.

This favorite Park Slope cafe is actually more of a patisserie specializing in French pastries, Belgian waffles and other baked goods with a cult following. with a selection of cakes that change every hour as they’re made, you’ll sometimes see lines out the door!

This Belgian and French patisserie also serves the best drip coffee, espresso, and cold brew from the Brooklyn Roasting Company, which pairs perfectly with their delicious pastries, sandwiches, and salads. just note that breakfast is only offered until 1:00 p.m. m. and lunch is served only until 2:30 p.m. m., with only takeout options available until closing time.

As they say, early risers get the worm and that’s the case at Colson’s Bakery, we recommend going early to get the largest selection before items sell out. don’t stress too much, as new things are added every hour too.

if you’re looking for something sweet, they have those too, we personally love taking their freshly baked baguettes to go too.

vegan and gluten-free options are also available.

another cozy park slope cafe and another great cafe with a quaint facade on 5th avenue is cafe martin. This classic Park Slope coffee shop has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere while serving up delicious coffee. Unlike most cafes, Cafe Martin doesn’t offer Wi-Fi to its patrons, so don’t come here planning to write your next novel while drinking coffee all day. this is a more intimate coffee experience.

don’t let that put you off, cafe martin is said to have the best espresso of all the coffee shops in park slope. you’ll have to try and let us know.

We love the relaxed atmosphere here, which the owners have done well both here and at their other park slope cafe location, cafe regular, which is also another cozy park slope cafe that we recommend.

Visitors love breakfast sandwiches, so this is a perfect spot for breakfast or lunch. we personally love the relaxed atmosphere here.

southside coffee serves small batch artisan coffee from george howell using only regional and quality single origin coffee.

This is a great park slope cafe for a quick bite and a cup of delicious coffee and then you can walk a few blocks to green-wood cemetery, one of our picks for the best things to do on park slope.

They have a great menu of snacks and sandwiches to choose from if you get a little peckish with a great selection for vegetarians and vegans.

Coffee in Kos Kaffe Park Slope Brooklyn 251 5th Ave

This park slope cafe is more than just a coffee shop, the kos kaffe roasting house claims to offer food and coffee for married couples on its website. This family-run park slope cafe prides itself on being a welcoming place to its community and neighborhood.

We’re obsessed with the atmosphere here, as well as the beautiful flower mural on the side of the cafe.

The husband and wife team is a dynamic duo as he has been roasting coffee for over two decades and she has spent an equal amount of time cooking in some of New York’s best restaurants and is author of two cookbooks.

They serve home cooked food along with their fresh and tasty coffee menu, which you know will be good based on their background.

They even use local milk to accompany your cup of home-roasted coffee prepared by their dedicated baristas. what we love about this park slope cafe is that they are totally cool with customers who chill and hang around making it a nice place to work for a few hours while having coffee and a tasty freshly cooked meal ready.

Note that there are sections of this park slope cafe that are for people who want to stay and work here and a section that is a laptop free zone. But don’t worry, there’s plenty of room for people who want to work here!

techne kafe is an idyllic coffee shop on seventh avenue. Like many other places on this list, it’s a small space that’s perfect for grabbing your cup of coffee to go and on your way. They have an outdoor bench with a nice umbrella if you’re interested in enjoying a coffee at one of the best coffee shops in park slope.

I love an iced cappuccino and have found very few places that can make an iced cappuccino let alone a good one. techne kafe defies those odds. They also have some of the best employees and make you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in.

if you want more than just coffee, they also do a delicious matcha latte and chai latte and they also have amazing cakes and desserts.

newer in the neighborhood but fast becoming a great cafe on park slope it’s casita brooklyn. Casita’s motto is “home is not a place, it’s a feeling” and that is felt in every aspect of this Park Slope Café. they can also have the best owners, which makes this place even more special!

all cakes and food are handmade and all are equally delicious and inspired by the owner’s Latin and Greek roots. definitely order the sweet cold beer. it’s the perfect amount of cold brew and the perfect amount of sweet. Also, don’t leave without trying their guava empanadas. they are handmade to perfection.

casita of brooklyn offers indoor and outdoor dining. indoor seating is limited, but they do have a covered outside area that can almost feel like you’re indoors, especially with the heaters on in the cooler months. They also have regular events like Greek night or Latin night where they offer dinner, drinks and dancing which is always a lot of fun to attend.

Os Cafe is another one of the amazing park slope cafes that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also has some of the best coffee in park slope. the floor plan full of garlands of lights throughout this space not only makes for a great place to work but is also a great place to meet friends for casual coffee.

They have all the best coffee options and some unique and special ones for them. they can make anything ice cold and have different flavors to add to your lattes. She only serves locally roasted third-wave specialty coffee and bakes all of her specialty cakes and treats in-house.

The café offers both indoor and outdoor dining.

blank street cafe

blank street has been popping up everywhere and we’re definitely not mad about it. They have a great classic cup of coffee in a warm and inviting space and although most of their spaces are small, they always have great outdoor dining options. plus they serve king david tacos (one of the best places to eat in prospect heights), so this already makes blank street one of the best cafes in park slope.

You can’t go wrong with any of the coffee options on the menu and you definitely can’t go wrong with any of King David’s taco options. blank street also has a convenient app you can use (when you download your first coffee it’s free) to order ahead so you can easily walk in and grab your coffee and treats to go.

blank street also has a small pop up cart that is sometimes found outside of prospect park on the corner of prospect park west & Calle 15 also serves coffee and tacos here and it’s the perfect spot for a picnic in the park.

While we know the variety has several locations throughout the city, we were very happy to see one open up on park slope. They always have delicious coffee and some of the best pastries in the area. In addition, the spaces are spacious and welcoming and the perfect place to work or meet a friend.

This park slope cafe is full of light, with wooden tables and a long counter to order your coffee and treats. Variety has all your classic coffee drinks and some of the best pastries (definitely try the chocolate croissant).

the variety has indoor seating and while there is no outdoor seating, they do have floor-to-ceiling glass windows that make you feel like you’re outdoors.

this is a (new) coffee shop for us and the moment we drove by we knew it would be one of the best coffee shops park slope has to offer.

the space is simple but in that nice minimalist way. They have several hooks to hang your belongings as well as small round wooden tables and a long bar where you can work or relax watching how they prepare the coffee. room 205 also has outdoor seating if that’s your preference.

Not only do they have delicious coffee, they also have court street sandwiches and pastries if you prefer.
