Since its days as a Prohibition-era speakeasy, Cafe Cadieux has been a social hub for the Belgian population of metro Detroit. Flemish culture flourishes in the Cadieux, which is or has been the unofficial home to a variety of clubs promoting pastimes from across the pond, including pigeon racing, archery, cycling, darts and, of course, bowling. feathers. Café Cadieux has upheld these east side traditions since 1933. Dinner reservations are accepted for groups of six or more. To reserve the feather bowling lanes, call (313) 882-8560 or email [email protected] to reserve your time in advance. Walk-in reservations are possible for the feather bowling alleys, subject to availability. Feather Bowling League play is held September through May on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-10 p.m. m. call or email for league information.
cadieux coffee is available for private or corporate events in the morning, afternoon and evening. With the addition of a 5,000-square-foot open-air biergarten (mussel beach), a projection screen stage, and an open-air bar (the garage bar), Cadieux Cafe is the perfect place to host a variety of events!
