                But are they hypoallergenic?

i heard a lot of rumors about starbucks changing their allergen management policies. Turns out they haven’t changed their processes, but they are trying to be more transparent. as before, pitchers must be rinsed and fresh pitchers can be ordered, but the presence of milk is still abundant in every shop. People with a severe allergy to milk should be careful when ordering drinks and food, and may want to stick to safe pre-packaged and bottled options. many people, including me, go basic with a simple coffee or tea.

here is your new allergen alert:

starbucks constantly reviews its practices to seek better ways of working and provide transparency to our customers and partners (employees). As of July 10 [2018], Starbucks removed the dairy labels from the steam and blender jars. Because our drinks are made with shared equipment (steam wands, blender jar, rinsers), the removal of the label is more transparent and realistic of how the jars are used. As a standard drink, our baristas use a rinsed carafe for each craft drink. If you have any questions or concerns, ask your barista to re-brew the drink with a new pitcher, and remember that this does not guarantee that the drink is allergen-free.

does starbucks offer vegan whipped cream?

In 2020, they trialled vegan whipped cream in the UK, but there is no sign of a permanent rollout yet. in the usa In the US, they’ve only just begun testing a lentil-based dairy-free whipped cream; rumored to be at only two locations in washington state. if it goes mainstream, we’ll update it!

Hopefully the distribution will be expanded!

For pre-packaged beverages to go, evolution fresh juices are available. Most of this brand’s shakes now contain milk, but it seems that starbucks no longer offers shakes. Either way, stick to your bottled juices (no protein drinks) and check the ingredients.

Starbucks has also launched some dairy-free coffee drinks and creamers to enjoy at home. These products are mainly sold in supermarkets, not in Starbucks stores. include oat milk cold brew bottles, oat milk frappuccinos and almond & oatmeal creams.
